Samurai Warrior Armor
From the ancient world of the Orient comes our mighty Samurai warrior. The majority of this suit is made from thick 10oz. water-hardened vegetable tand leather and then stained to a deep burgundy for a very worn and weathered look. All pieces are hand-threaded together with sturdy nylon braided cord. Gold metal ornamentation is made from brass. Detail effects such as battle-damage cuts and blood stains have also been added. Other colors are available such as brown, deep green, blue, purple and even all black as well as many different cord colors. Many of the pieces can also be custom tooled.

Much research went into studing actual Japanese Samurai armor for us to make it look right, although we are still not claiming ours to be historically accurate.

The "sode" or spaulers are particularly detailed and are very articulate. Six "kusazuri" or skirt pieces, hang from the main breastplate giving them the correct appearance as you move around. Also, scale armor was used on the burgundy suit for the "haidate", which is the front leg skirt. This is a very comfortable and lightweight suit to wear and will surely impress all.

The Samurai armor ranges from $1170 to $1670 & up depending on detailing, etc. The burgundy one here is an example of a $1670 suit. The black suit on this page is an example of an $1170 one. The burgundy suit has several different pieces and much more detailing, battle-damage cuts, blood stained effects and so on, which is why it's more.
